You're right, the approach taken in the guide will allow these to work:

Although not perfect, I think in most cases this approach shouldn't cause too much inconvenience to users, simply because it would be rare for users to type in the one that doesn't work. Thanks for raising this. If I figure out how to make the last one work, I'll update the guide.
